AMP-sourced information has identified a general target location for a potential night-time terror attack.
(AMP -- Anomalous Mental Phenomena -- refers to information provided using unusual intuitive powers of the human mind.)
The general location being reported is "Potomac." Few details are available but the suggestion is that a potential night-time attack involving the Potomac River might be under consideration, or is of general concern to the Intelligence Community.
No specific details of a threat have been revealed, beyond a "general unease" for two locations, one in New York City, and the other in Washington, D.C.
NYC and Washington were the focus of the 9/11 attacks.
On September 29, 2007, Associated Press reported that "Iran's parliament voted Saturday to designate the CIA and the U.S. Army as 'terrorist organizations,' a largely symbolic response to a U.S. Senate resolution seeking a similar designation for Iran's Revolutionary Guards."
According to the AP story:
"The aggressor U.S. Army and the Central Intelligence Agency are terrorists and also nurture terror," said a statement by the 215 lawmakers who signed the resolution at an open session of the 290-member Iranian parliament. The session was broadcast live on state-run radio."
The AMP-sourced data may be a reflection of concerns passing through the intelligence community.
Earlier this year, a physicist reported a rumor that a government contact had told him loose nuclear weapons were being tracked as they were moved around the United States. No independent confirmation of that rumor has been provided. The alleged devices were said to have involved 1950s era tactical technology , and were no longer operational, but contained parts that might be refurbished for use in a new weapon.
CIA Headquarters is near the Potomac River. (An aerial image can be viewed using Google Maps and entering the search term "CIA Headquarters.")
The AP story noted that the Iranian "parliament said the Army and the CIA were terrorists because of the atomic bombing of Japan; the use of depleted uranium munitions in the Balkans, Afghanistan and Iraq; support of the killings of Palestinians by Israel; the bombing and killing Iraqi civilians and the torture of imprisoned terror suspects."
